Chad A. Morrone, Esq.

Licensed to practice law in CT and MA - A native of Westerly, Attorney Chad Morrone attended Bentley University, after graduating from Westerly High School. Chad graduated from New England School of Law, in Boston. Immediately after graduating in 2000, he founded his own practice in Medford, Massachusetts. Chad continued practicing in the Boston area focusing mainly on real estate. Chad, after moving back to Westerly, shifted into the financial services business for two years, acquiring all the necessary security licenses. Then, he returned to the practice of law by joining the Marinosci Law Group, a large national default firm. There, he focused on foreclosure, evictions, and bankruptcy litigation. In 2020, he once again founded his own practice, in the heart of Westerly to serve the RI/ CT community while maintaining his connections in the Boston area.

While the practice of law can be very time consuming, Chad still takes time to give back to the community, both locally and beyond. He works with the Big Brother/Big Sister Program, makes contributions to the Jimmy Fund, and supports the local Johnnycake Center. During the holidays, Chad volunteers at the Westerly Warm Shelter, with his teenage son, cooking meals for those in need. To relax, he plays guitar, spends time with his son, and takes time to visit old friends from his years in the Boston area. Exercise and fresh air are important to him, enjoying time at the beach, boating, skiing, or hiking with his dog.

Michael F. Cuqua, Esq.
Licensed to practice in RI and MA
Attorney Michael Cuqua graduated from Colby College in Waterville, ME and Fordham University School of Law in New York City. Mike worked for US Trust - Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase during and after graduating from law school. Then, Mike moved to Westerly from New York to start a family with his wife Sage. Mike's prior experience was primarily working with banks and trust companies to help clients/investors properly manage assets and investments. More recently, Atty Cuqua has worked for Brown University in Providence and the University of Rhode Island in Kingston as a grants and contracts coordinator. Ultimately, Atty Cuqua understands the power of proper planning and will be developing the Estate Planning practice area at Morrone Legal as an efficient and effective tool for all clients as well as growing the real estate practice area.
A native of Walpole, MA, Mike will be assisting clients in the Boston area as well. In his down time, Atty Cuqua enjoys the local attractions of the Misquamicut State Beaches and golf courses while he chases his two toddlers and dog. Mike is also a volunteer firefighter for the Watch Hill Fire Department in an effort to give back to the community.

Erin Whitman
Senior Paralegal
Erin Whitman is the senior paralegal and the smiling face that will greet you at the door. Erin has a strong background in legal matters ranging from family law to real estate closings and she offers superior attention to detail. Most recently, she was working for Electric Boat as an administrator before coming to Morrone Legal. Erin is also a Westerly native and graduate from Westerly High School. She lives locally with her daughter and enjoys spending time exploring Wilcox Park and the Westerly Library.
